It tackles
quite lurid here at first sight: WARFECT promise the pure
overdose of war, Depicting The Macabre implicates
horrible scenes and the Hellish Thrash Metal printed on the promo-flyer
suggest that the Swedish fry their breakfast bacon directly in
hell. Where Hellish Thrash Metal is printed is not necessarily
Hellish Thrash Metal inside. And there is completely nothing coming
out of hell. In fact WARFECT knows all about how to act
as good and brave craftsmen like the Christian shepherd on their
third release (the CD’s before are promo releases) just
with the difference that these guys act more barefaced sometimes
than to turn the other cheek. Means that Depiciting The
Macabre has some rough, modern Thrash parts in stock.
Presented technical well but cemented the songwriting in the hard
as bone mean. What is missing is the kick washing away the halfhearted
shrug of shoulders.
I have to clarify then WARFECT’s factual musical
origin – this is based in Metallica’s melodic atmosphere.
Fredrik Wester’s vocals are most obvious. The adapted to
Hetfield won’t fit into the general view at any time. Far
more powerful the shadow becomes in the ballad Never Tor Return.
Such a track, copied through and through mercilessly, means to
be brashness.
My idea to get more than 6 points for the next output (if this
might be released): find yourself, WARFECT, and present
your very own character! You are in business since 2003, dudes!
